My research focuses on quantitative methods and psychometrics, with particular attention to multilevel modeling, meta-analysis, and intensive longitudinal data such as daily diaries. I develop and apply multilevel models—including cross-classified random effects models—to better capture how individuals’ psychological and behavioral processes are shaped by multiple contextual factors including family, school, and peers. In addition, I conduct applied meta-analyses to synthesize evidence in education and mental health, aiming to bridge methodological rigor with real-world relevance. My current projects also combine digital log data and daily diary methods to understand adolescents’ learning and mental health in everyday contexts. My teaching focuses on quantitative methodology, including multilevel modeling, meta-analysis, and R-based data analysis, where I emphasize helping students connect conceptual understanding with practical analytic skills.
